In this edition, the Theo Bruins Prize of the City of The Hague is awarded to Jacqueline Oskamp. Oskamp is a music journalist, publicist and the biographer of Louis Andriessen. In a beautiful programme with contributions from Asko|Schönberg and students of the Royal Conservatoire, Oskamp presents the long-awaited biography of the greatest Dutch composer.
This edition also features performances by the New European Ensemble and the Paper Ensemble – and the music theatre work by composer-in-residence Myrto Nizami, with which she concludes her residency at the festival.
