Percussionist Aya Suzuki plays parts from the legendary Nine Bells by composer Tom Johnson (born in America in 1939, now living in Paris, France). The timing of Nine Bells depends on how long the performing musician needs to walk back and forth between the bells. Suzuki is choreographed by a Japanese butoh dancer, who adds mystery and an oriental touch.
